I first got it because I was in need of a fairly hideous pink to go with my bathing cap when I did my Polar Plunge. It was good in a pinch. But I didn't care for it. That's actually not true, and I've really just been crazy busy since the holidays. I spent the weekend after New Years on The Rock Boat. Musings of a wannabe crafter. Monday, March 01, 2010. So much fun, I did it twice! That's right - this past Saturday, I finally plunged into the Potomac River. To raise money for Special Olympics Virginia. I raised $1,000 for Area 26. Which covers the northern Virginia area, including Fairfax and Arlington Counties, and the cities of Fairfax, Falls Church, and Alexandria. Check out my picture in the paper. Musings of a wannabe crafter. Thursday, July 15, 2010. It's Not the Heat, It's The Humidity. I'll take cold any day. Last week was hot. So hot, in fact, that when the power went out on Wednesday, we ended up getting sent home early. So far this year, we have missed one week (plus a half day) due to snow and another half day due to heat. I think that means that snow rocks harder than heat. Links to this post. Musings of a wannabe crafter. Thursday, October 07, 2010. ILeany on a Diet. Yep, I'm on a diet. I have been, sort of, for a while, but never really wanted to call it a diet. In July, I was diagnosed as prediabetic. Trust me, it was a SHOCK! Looking back, it shouldn't have been too much of a shock. I knew that I ate junk - a lot of junk. I ate fast food because it's quick and easy, I ate candy because I craved sugar, and I never paid attention to portion sizes or calories. Links to this post. I don't know...

I feel like I make the same resolutions each year - which leads me to believe that I'm not necessarily succeeding in achieving my resolutions. I need to find my resolutions from last year and see what I actually achieved. Why make a resolution if there's no accountability? Musings of a wannabe crafter. Wednesday, January 05, 2011. On a Boat, almost. Tomorrow I'll be on a boat. But I'm not bringing any flippy floppies. I always find packing to be a big problem. Inevitably, I pack too much. This time around, I'm between suitcase sizes! I had too much for my small suitcase, but too little for my large suitcase!
