The assignment Lydia gave us is to make a card with fall colors and with print such as newsprint, book pages, or text. I used two Justrite stamp sets for this card: Script Background Stamp and Shabby Chic Autumn Leaves (I've had this one forEVER and I think this is only the 2nd time I've used it! My focus for the day…. July 20, 2016. July 20, 2016. Today I’m posting a card I made for the Color Your Day class. I’m taking. The process they wanted us to use was adding color. I used the Altenew Peony Bouquet layering stamp set. The instructor, Therese Calvird. Who was great by the way, showed us how she cut out a thin rectangle after she stamped and layered the images. My focus for the day…. March 13, 2015. March 13, 2015. This week we received our Texas Rangers season tickets so I decided in honor of them, I’d create these 3D caps. My daughter and I and tackled this together. She did the small one and I the larger one. I got the file from SVGcuts.com. They have such great templates and tutorials to help you through the process. My focus for the day…. August 16, 2016. I’m taking a class from Altenew Academy. Helping to up the game on card sentiments. Day one dealt with using more than one sentiment on the front of a card. I chose to use vellum on top of purple card stock and then embossed a floral image and leaves from Altenew stamp set called Persian Motifs. I used fun foam to die cut the “Celebrate” sentiment I used from Tim Holtz thinlets die set. I love the look of embossed vellum! Thanks for stopping by 🙂.
