Nayth: antique bed stool finished
http://nayth.blogspot.com/2010/11/antique-bed-stool-finished.html
Sunday, November 7, 2010. Antique bed stool finished. This is the antique foot/bed stool I found at a Salvos - I finally got around to re-upholstering the top. I started to remove the original one but the padding was so deteriorated that I couldn't remove it without it becoming a health hazard! It was seriously so messy and made me sneeze profusely. So I made the top piece and then fit it over the original top. It looks lovely. I love when that happens! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Nayth: Summer handbag
http://nayth.blogspot.com/2010/11/summer-handbag.html
Sunday, November 7, 2010. This is the latest bag I have made. I think it may be my favorite to date! It has a zipper pocket inside which I must say was so easy to do. I am no longer afraid of sewing zippers! I made it in class to make sure I did it correctly but it is a very simple pattern to follow. There is a bigger version as well which I will do next. The buttons are vintage from an op shop - so lucky I had 4. I would like to keep this one but it is a Christmas present. November 8, 2010 at 4:00 AM.

http://nayth.blogspot.com/2010/10/mr-spider.html
Friday, October 29, 2010. I had to make something for Jack too. so I made Mr. Spider off the cuff, used a dinner plate to trace an outline for his body, and a smaller bowl for his head. Jack named him - Jo! He is made from wool felt. Labels: Mr. Spider. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Something that I make . Kimono for KCWC Fall 2012. View my complete profile. Nayth: christmas tree skirt
http://nayth.blogspot.com/2010/11/christmas-tree-skirt.html
Sunday, November 28, 2010. I made a skirt for the Christmas tree. I found this cute fabric at Spotlight, 1m. I used an old flannel cot sheet to have on the underside. I laid the fabric down in half and traced corners with a large dinner plate. Then I cut a split down the middle and sewed either side to wrap around the tree base. It looks really nice! Nayth: October 2010
http://nayth.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 30, 2010. We looked at the pet shop the other day for a new mat/bed for Quincy and almost passed out with how expensive they were. Then I came across our hardly ever used port-a-cot mattress and had an idea. I was so proud of myself I even managed to match up the lines! It looks much nicer than the old, very well worn mat he had. Labels: Quincys new mat. First set of xmas decorations. Labels: first set of xmas decorations. Friday, October 29, 2010. Nayth: first set of xmas decorations
http://nayth.blogspot.com/2010/10/first-set-of-xmas-decorations.html
Saturday, October 30, 2010. First set of xmas decorations. The kids were sick last week so we did a lot of baking and assorted projects. These are cut out of wool felt and then decorated with glitter glue. Can't wait for the tree! Labels: first set of xmas decorations. October 30, 2010 at 10:04 PM. I was thinking of making Xmas decorations from air-dry clay but it will take at least one week to finish. Perhaps I should switch to felt. ;). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Not a last minute Easter craft | URBAN CRAFT
https://urbancraft.wordpress.com/2011/04/22/not-a-last-minute-easter-craft
We stay up late. What’s up with this blog? If I had a cool website. Not a last minute Easter craft. April 22, 2011. There are these moms that work full time and then come home and cook and clean and raise kids and then blog about whatever they blog about. I think they are lying. They either have maids, or nannies or stay at home husbands cause there is no way they have the time to sit around and blog with having to do all that stuff. What am I going to do with over a month’s worth or art? Then we cut up ...
