I have been going to Jonty Meyer in Stamford for a couple of years, and although I am a long way from competent it is a really interesting hobby to try. Helen with her sculptures at the May demonstration evening. Some of us thought we recognised the sitting chap above! If you would like to try sculture, see the panel above right. A few years ago, while on holiday, I bought a couple of painted wine glasses. After looking at them and examining them I thought I could do them just as well. I actually sold a few pieces on one occasion two ladies almost fought over one large piece! I haven’t done any for a few years, as space to keep them can be a problem! Judith has always been a keen needlewoman - she recounts how, at a very young age she stitched her finger with the sewing machine! Happily she wasn't put off sewing, as the following examples of her work show. Just a few of her many beautiful framed needlework pictures.
