Homemade Holidays: December 2008
http://holidaysbyhand.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
View my complete profile. Machine Sewn Ornaments DH found! Saturday, December 20, 2008. I mentioned in one of my earlier posts about my handmade ornaments. Okay, I started rambing didn't I? I think the person who made them did a great job. I would never take credit for something I did not make myself. I am hoping after the holidays to try and make my own patterns to make some like these. I have my treasures hanging on my tree proudly and thankful that someone so creative made these. 160;Links to this post.

View my complete profile. Saturday, November 22, 2008. I have seen these pins before online at other sites and wanted to try making my own for family. I had some tri-beads left over from the year before. I used Fall colored tri-beads. I used brown paper twist instead of the brown paper ribbon that it asks for in the instructions. Chenille stems (pipe cleaners). 6mm faceted beads (fall colors – golden yellow). Tri beads (fall colors). Tacky Glue (Aleene’s for example). 160;Links to this post. Subscribe to...

Homemade Holidays: My Halloween Mummy Pin
http://holidaysbyhand.blogspot.com/2008/09/my-halloween-mummy-pin.html
View my complete profile. My Halloween Mummy Pin. Sunday, September 21, 2008. One of my favorite crafts is making felt pins. I get my best ideas looking store catalogs and one of my favorite sites to get one is from Terry's. I made a felt mummy pin. Here's how I made mine. First I started with scrap felt for the body of the mummy. He sort looked like a gumby shape (for those who can remember the show). Here's my finshed Mummy Pin! Well, what do you think of my Mummy? http://holidaysbyhand.blogspot.com/2008/09/something-new-for-me.html
View my complete profile. Something new for me. Saturday, September 20, 2008. Today, I embark on new territory. I am now a craft blogger. Blogging is not new to me in fact my oldest blog (or what we called online journals) started in 2000. I wrote about my life as a parent of a preemie and special needs child and the challenges we face together as a family. From there, I started homeschooling in 2003 and then began blogging about our homeschool. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Forward into the Past.

View my complete profile. Blues Clues Felt Pin. Monday, September 29, 2008. Blues Clues Felt Pin. This is a felt pin I made several years ago that I though I'd share here in my craft blog.
