Sunday, October 20, 2013. Our Ecuadorian Godson's Baptism. Godfather" and "Godmother" in their native Kichwa language). She couldn't get enough hugs, and nearly bowled us over. She was now the older sister of two younger siblings, and seems to have grown into the role quite well. We weren't sure whether little Yupanqui, about to turn 3 in the next week, would recognize us after a year and a half. But the family had prepared him with photographs and he also ran right into our arms with no hesitation.

Wednesday, January 29, 2014. Rest in Peace, Fluffy. We came home from work today to find that Fluffy had passed away while sleeping under our bed. When our last cat Brownie passed away in 2011. We were only together for less than two and a half years, but we became very attached to her. She would follow us around the house and would always greet us when we arrived home from work. That didn't happen today, and Craig immediately suspected that something was wrong. Rest in peace, Fluffernutter; we miss you.

He got to open his presents from Mom and Dad on his real birthday and then we had his birthday party at Super Jump again this year on the following Saturday! The kids had lots of fun! Until the NBC Universal suite of apps empowered people to watch TV. The TV. Making those apps the Best Ever. Users could find these Watch Spots on Google Maps so they knew where they could get some wifi to watch TV on their phone or tablet. And for one of them, we even made the password the answer to some classic NBC trivia.
