Castlebay is the main town of the island and is also the main entry point for visitors travelling by ferry from Oban, on the Scottish mainland. Welcome to Craigard Hotel, on the Isle of Barra, the southern gateway to the Isles. The Craigard Hotel is locally owned by Brian and Fiona Currie. Managed by Frances MacIntyre. Craigard hotel is situated in Castlebay the main village on the Island, where you will find most of the local amenities and travel links, the Caledonian McBrayne ferry berths just a few hundred meters away.
