Free from Shame: The Taylor Family
http://coleencarnaby.blogspot.com/2007/09/taylor-family.html
Monday, September 17, 2007. I texted in to a radio station here in Gold Coast to win tickets to see Evan Almighty (it just came out here), and I won! Well all of my friends won too, but that just meant more of us could go! So 10 of us rocked it to the free premiere showing, and man it was both good company and a good movie. 8221; and Brian responded, “I reckon we should pray for this young people…” they were so on the same page! Contemplations of a Traveling Heart: Faith, Food, Amusement
http://lizisgrowing.blogspot.com/2012/02/faith-food-amusement.html
Friday, February 17, 2012. Faith, Food, Amusement. Verses that stood out:. And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself. When he had said this, he showed them his hands and feet. And while they still did not believe it because of joy and amazement, he asked them, “Do you have anything here to eat? They gave him a piece of broiled fish,. And he took it and ate it in their presence. Why they stood out:. The second one: OMG. I'm c...

Contemplations of a Traveling Heart: Morning by Morning
http://lizisgrowing.blogspot.com/2012/02/morning-by-morning.html
Thursday, February 16, 2012. Mockers resent correction,. So they avoid the wise. A happy heart makes the face cheerful,. But heartache crushes the spirit. The discerning heart seeks knowledge,. But the mouth of a fool feeds on folly. All the days of the oppressed are wretched,. But the cheerful heart has a continual feast. Better a little with the fear of the LORD. Than great wealth with turmoil. Better a small serving of vegetables with love. Than a fattened calf with hatred. Thank God I'm not God.

Contemplations of a Traveling Heart: October 2009
http://lizisgrowing.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 8, 2009. I know I haven't updated in a while, and that I should probably post all the amazing things (and some not quite so amazing things) that have been going on in my life, and perhaps I will in time, but what I am most excited about, and most eager to share with my friends throughout the world that read this is how Jesus blessed my very first talk. That Christ's grace offers us freedom in fallenness. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Contemplations of a Traveling Heart. Pray for the UofA.

Contemplations of a Traveling Heart: December 2008
http://lizisgrowing.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 23, 2008. If It Weren't for Jesus I'd Quit This Christian Thing! Breathe in. Breathe out.*. So this is my little rant. I've been developing it now for the past few months and now its gotten to an all time high. * grrr. And these are the people representing Jesus! How can we possibly expect people to want a life following Jesus if all we do is tear each other's throats out and treat non-Christians as if they are the scum beneath our feet? Since high school she became a bartender. She...

Free from Shame: Little Life Update
http://coleencarnaby.blogspot.com/2007/10/little-life-update.html
Monday, October 8, 2007. For all those who were concerned, I have finished my assignments, last minute and all, and I have had a lovely weekend. Both Saturday and Sunday i went to the beach. It is really getting hot in Australia, and the only thing there seems to be to do is to sit by the beach with the cool breeze on my face. On Saturday we walked to the beach again, and it truly isnt that far. I feel I am going to get home and expect to walk everywhere, and in reality i probably will. I love you all!

Contemplations of a Traveling Heart: March 2009
http://lizisgrowing.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 24, 2009. Is Home Really Where My Rump Rests? This year has been an odd year, and due to the intense situations ebbing and flowing through my senior year I have been disinclined to truly enjoy where I am. So it was a great surprise to me when, for the first time in 7 months, I actually started enjoying my desert. My spring break was actually full of fun little surprises like that. I guess Christ will just have to get that much bigger for me. Friday, March 20, 2009. People most of my life, ...

Contemplations of a Traveling Heart: January 2009
http://lizisgrowing.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 28, 2009. Who Are You to Lead These People? I HATE sharing things. Hate Hate Hate Hate. And I don't mean physical things. Sure, you can borrow my blanket, or have some of my apple, or wear my skirt. Whatever. Those things are incredibly unimportant. No, I mean I have an intense aversion to sharing personal things, like thoughts, dreams, memories and the whatnot. I know that I'm generally very personable. Sure. Why not? Tuesday, January 13, 2009. However, I think people who are "sad dru...

Tuesday, February 10, 2009. If Casablanca's Problems Don't Amount to A Hill of Beans in This Crazy World, Then I'm Screwed. One of my favorite games to play when I was in Europe last year (I can't believe it has already been a year) was a kind of "what if" game. "What would I be doing if I were not Studying Abroad right now? Tucson. England. *weighs scales* yea. I think England wins out on the "excitement" factor inherently. In 125 degree phoenix summer heat. ew. And then it occurred. How Laid Off Spells...
