July 3, 2008} June 12th, 2008. Now, James Blunt is a bit of an odd fellow. He seems a bit socially awkward but is at the same time so absolutely lovable that you don’t really mind and find his awkward-ness endearing. His concert was definately like that! July 2, 2008} October 31st, 2007. Anyway, there were quite a few tears shed throughout the evening. A few songs worth mentioning were “Nessun Dorma”, “E lucevan le stelle” from Tosca and of course “Time to say goodbye”. My rating: 4 out of 5. February 22, 2010} Emiliana Torrini Feb. 21st, 2010. Finally something to write about. My life has been very much concert-less lately, almost to a level of suffering. Thankfully I managed to snatch up a couple of tickets to the last concert of Emiliana Torrini’s “Me and Armini” tour. July 6, 2008} July 1st, 2008. A rare treat when one of the truly magnificent living legends came to Iceland. Paul Simon honoured us with the first concert of his European tour! Highlights (other than Sound of Silence) were You can call me Al, Diamonds on the soles of her shoes, Me and Julio, Graceland, The Boxer, Mrs. Robinson. oh and just about everything else. July 3, 2008} June 10th, 2008. Not a concert for months and then flood came. Whitesnake started off the summer with noise and lots of noise! The best part of the show for me was to see bass player Uriah Duffy. Who completely blew my mind with his plank-spanking! What a great head of hair too😉. A great rockin’ evening! 3 1/2 out of 5. Vá hvað það hefur verið mikið gaman undanfarið hjá stelpunum mínum að fara út á snjóþotu og renna sér niður brekkuna á Rútstúni! Alveg brilliant að fá snjó svona lengi í einu :). Fyrst maður hefur engin stórvandamál til að stressa sig yfir þá verður maður nú að taka bræðina út á smámununum sem í raun skipta engu máli. Er það ekki? Asdis birti @ 13:33. Maí er víst alveg að verða búinn. bara eftir rúman klukkutíma eða svo. Ferlega líður tíminn alltaf hraðar og hraðar þegar maður verður svona gamall eins og ég verð einhvern tíman í framtíðinni (ferlega var þetta bjánaleg setning hjá mér). Jei lífsmark frá Hlyn og Ernu, ekkert smá gaman búið að vera hjá þeim í outback ferðalagi í Ástralíunni. Hlynur sló líka svona svakalega í gegn í garðyrkjuskólanum, hæstur í sinni deild, annar hæstur í skólanum og fékk 3 viðurkenningar í viðbót! Svo btw. ef einhver ...

Svo fór ég nú bara í hina árlegu stelpusumarbústaðaferð um helgina með þeim Björgu og Sólrúnu. Mikið fjör, mikið gaman. Mikið borðað, slatta drukkið. Mikið spilað og ég meira að segja vann Catan tvisvar þó svo að allavega annað skiptið hafi Sólrún svona hmmm haldið sig til baka aðeins ;) Potturinn. já við fórum ansi oft í pottinn! Bara stutt til að láta vita að tónleikarnir sem píanósnillingurinn ætlaði að spila á í kvöld verður frestað til 9. nóvember kl. 18:15. Endilega mæta allir sem geta í Salinn þá :) :). Spænskan gengur vel, yo bara klárust maar ;) Og félagsfræðin er þvílíkt kjaftablaður, maður bara les tvisvar yfir og bullar svo einhver svör við verkefnunum. Við Ólöf Svala fengum verkefni að spila fjórhent á píanóið og það gekk bara ágætlega. vííííí. Nú er kominn tími á að fá samning milli kennara og sveitarfélaga. Stóra daman komin með staðfestingu á píanónámi í Tónlistarskóla Kópavogs! Ég bara spyr. En sviðið var náttúrulega á bjánalegum stað bara. Á endanum færðum við okkur til hliðar við sviðið og höfðum allt það pláss sem við þurftum til að dilla okkur þar. Funky fried chicken. VÚÚÚÚÚÚÚÚÚÚ! Asdis birti @ 10:46. Ég byrjaði að kveðja gamla árið í gærkvöld með litlu systur minni á Gauki á Stöng. Jagúarmenn spiluðu fyrir okkur í u.þ.b. 2 1/2 tíma, eðaltónlist sem maður vill ekki að endi. Mjög gaman og sérlega hressandi að fá tækifæri til að dilla sér aðeins svona í lok ársins. Ég vil óska ykkur öllum gleðilegs nýs árs með þökk fyrir liðnar stundir í gegnum tíðina. Saturday, May 16, 2015. Glimpses from the past 6. Love these pots that I have done 13 - 14 yrs back. This was done using epoxy putty and acrylic colors.
