http://crazydaisytime.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
A collection of images that inspire me, the textile work I enjoy making and links to things I have enjoyed. Wednesday, May 21, 2014. No sewing yet, but a play day instead. Sirdar book 398, "Roman Holiday". In town yesterday, I found myself looking for a pattern for a cardigan. I have needed a cream cardigan for quite some time and haven't done any knitting for months. So I walked into Crafty Stitches. Sirdar 9428, top version. Which feels beautifully soft and should wash really easily. I think my favouri...

The Story of the Traveling Pages. Saturday, March 19, 2011. My Story of the Traveling Pages. Today I finished my story of the traveling Pages. The cover is made with felted wool. Inside I used a night sky. I think that looks good for a fairy tail book. I am not 100% happy how I made the book pages together. But for my first book it is okay. June 5, 2011 at 10:32 AM. The Story of the Traveling Pages: The Sea book is complete!
http://thestoryofthetravelingpages.blogspot.com/2011/06/sea-book-is-complete.html
The Story of the Traveling Pages. Tuesday, June 7, 2011. The Sea book is complete! My book is now complete! This is a front view. Here is the open book. My apologies for the photograph here. It looks a little odd sloping to one side, but that was my fault. The book was standing upright, you can just see the odd angle of the horizon. I have shown this photograph merely because it gives an indication of the wealth of textures there are amongst these lovely pages. The inside of the front cover. Beautiful fi...

If friends were flowers………. | Knitsamadworld
https://knitsamadworld.wordpress.com/2015/08/04/if-friends-were-flowers
A blog by a knitting and reading obsessive! If friends were flowers………. Posted in card making. This is a random card with no-one in mind, I just liked the image and wanted to colour it. Again coloured with Copics, sorry I didn’t write down the colours. The backing papers were offcuts which I bought at Crab Apple Crafts in Frodsham. Again the sentiment was from a magazine freebie. Some of the magazines give great free gifts, like Creative Stamping. A card for Mark. All Dressed Up ». Enter your comment here.

CrazyDaisy's Crafty Talk
Creating a crafty world! Wednesday, October 24, 2007. Autumnal walks along the river path. We decided to make the most of the dry autumnal weather to take a walk along the river to Keynsham this morning. The sun was burning it's way through the clouds so it was a perfect opportunity to get the camera out! As we were following the footpath we had to walk under a pylon. This photo was taken looking up through the center,. And this one was looking up from the corner. Sunday, September 9, 2007. I have also s...

A collection of images that inspire me, the textile work I enjoy making and links to things I have enjoyed. Monday, March 19, 2018. Knitting, sewing and future plans. The Unicorn Jumper is now completed, I just have a few ends to sew in. When I'd almost finished knitting this jumper, I was told of a technique called Ladder Back Jacquard for colourwork like this design. You will find a video about the technique here. I really ought to try. The third fabric I bought was this Trailing Leaves stretch Ponte R...
