Kitchen Creations

A Taste of Home Cooking. A Year in the Kitchen. Chaos in the kitchen. Sunday, December 26, 2010. A simple recipe to make your own version of a however-loaded-you-want potato soup. Perfect for nights when you're craving something really warm and tasty, but don't have a lot of time. 4-5 large potatoes, peeled and cubed. Toppings: cheese, onions, vinegar, bacon, green onions, sour cream. really anything you want! Don't worry, the "soup" will be a little lumpy. You could also use a hand blender for this.

A Taste of Home Cooking. A Year in the Kitchen. Chaos in the kitchen. Friday, December 24, 2010. Christmas Baking: Sugar Cookies. A classic. This dough is simple to make and keeps well in the refrigerator until you're ready to roll it out and make cookies. Or until you're ready to just eat dough. 1 cup butter or margarine, softened. 1 tsp almond extract (I use vanilla instead). When ready to make cookies, roll dough out onto floured surface and cut to desired shape. Bake at 350˚F for 8 minutes.

http://weimerchronicles.blogspot.com/2012/08/38ish-week-update.html

Tuesday, August 7, 2012. Nothing too exciting to report. I went to the doctor yesterday for my 38 week pre-natal exam (even though I am not 38 weeks until tomorrow! My numbers yesterday were:. Weight: up another lb for a total of 21 lbs. BP: 119/40 (a little high, but the nurse said it was because I was talking while she was measuring it). Fundal Height: 36 cm. Thankfully I was able to take it all apart and wash all the different pieces and now they are all clean and nice-smelling again! He will only be ...

Birthday Tickers from WiddlyTinks.com. Birthday Tickers from WiddlyTinks.com. Birthday Tickers from WiddlyTinks.com. Saturday, August 25, 2012. All three of our girls were "late" crawlers (according to averages). Sierra crawled around 10 months old, Chyler didn't crawl until 1 week before she turned one year old, and Ariella has been very content hanging out on her bum as well.until this week! I find her crawling to be so funny looking (and it seems exhausting too) but it is still so cute! Standing in No...

Saturday, April 14, 2012. Mid-point Ultrasound and Gender Reveal. Keith and Jacob really wanted this baby to be a boy. Keith has admitted that having a girl makes him a little nervous since he doesn't know "girl stuff". And, there is the expense that I already mentioned. He is happy to have another son, but he also said he would not be disappointed if it is a girl. He said "If it is a girl, we aren't bringing her home." I guess he really has his mind made up! That it is a BOY! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Birthday Tickers from WiddlyTinks.com. Birthday Tickers from WiddlyTinks.com. Birthday Tickers from WiddlyTinks.com. Wednesday, June 19, 2013. How does this day seem to sneak up on me every year? I honestly have come to dislike this day. Grief has a way of living dormant in your life, it is there, don't get me wrong, but it has a way of hiding sometimes. One difference though is how others see your "bites", because bug bites fade away and only you. But here is the TRUTH! Yesterday, today, tomorrow, grief...

Wednesday, October 2, 2013. My New Set Up From Yescomusa.com. So just wanted to update you all on some photos I have been taking of my jewelry, I think natural light is always key.
