Curly Girl Coop: March 2014
http://curlygirlcoop.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, 30 March 2014. Janie Crowfoot's Crochet Club 2014 - February. At last I have time on a Sunday to sit down and show you the first part of Janie Crowfoot's 2014 Crochet Club. Unfortunately, the reason I have time on my hands is because I am sitting at my mum's hospital bedside, occupying myself whilst she sleeps, so there may well be a few mistakes littering this post, as my mind becomes preoccupied by other things. This presented another challenge - blocking. I don't think I've ever really. Blocke...

Curly Girl Coop: April 2014
http://curlygirlcoop.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, 27 April 2014. At last the cheerier weather has allowed us to wander around the beautiful countryside that surrounds glorious Norfolk. We are rather spoilt in Norfolk; within a short drive of my house I have the choice of beautiful sandy beaches, luscious green countryside, the world famous Broads or light-dappled forests, all perfect for a lazy dog walk. There is nothing Sas loves more than to join his little pack and head out for a day of adventuring (both human and four-legged pack mates).

Curly Girl Coop: All About Me
http://curlygirlcoop.blogspot.com/p/hi-my-name-is-leah-and-i-live-in-great.html
My days are spent at a local hospital where I work as a Clinical Scientist with children with hearing loss. I love my job very much, as it is a great combination of clinical work with patients as well as research and development work too. My real love, however, is crochet. I learnt to crochet a couple of years ago whilst trying to find a present for my friend who had just had a baby. Crochet gifts looked cute but were so expensive! The video gives you an idea of the things I love to make.

Curly Girl Coop: December 2013
http://curlygirlcoop.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, 29 December 2013. I needn't have worried. Christmas was a lovely relaxed day which is just what I needed as I worked until late on Christmas eve. Lots of presents, lots of food and lots of time spent together. Perfect. Doesn't he look great in rainbow stripes? I also finished off my Fresh Stitches Gingerbread Man who I think is one of the cutest little things I have made. I just love his smiley little face. And most importantly, dud you manage to sneak in a little crochet time over the holidays?

Curly Girl Coop: Spotty Pyjama Make!
http://curlygirlcoop.blogspot.com/2014/05/spotty-pyjama-make.html
Sunday, 11 May 2014. After only 9 months of indecision, my bestest friend Leanne Leanne finally settled on the perfect gift for her 30th birthday - a pyjama sewing class! So yesterday, we headed off under a rather dark sky to Norwich to take a beginners pyjama making class at Make Place. A local craft workshop. I'm rather taken with the cute little animal patterns out there at the moment, like this one,. The elastic fitted perfectly, and once the ribbon was sewn on, the pyjamas were complete. A good leng...

Curly Girl Coop: February 2014
http://curlygirlcoop.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, 27 February 2014. Multi-coloured granny stripes - Lucy style. I'm less offended by granny stripes, however. I like that they look so homely, and I like that they can work in both really plain and really crazy colours and still look good. And someone who has got the crazy bright colour thing down to perfection is Lucy from Attic 24. I'm sure you've all heard of Lucy; in fact, I should think some of you even made it over to the first ever Yarndale. I looked at Lucy's granny blanket quite intently...

Curly Girl Coop: Sneak Peak! Spring Bunny pattern
http://curlygirlcoop.blogspot.com/2014/04/sneak-peak-spring-bunny-pattern.html
Sunday, 6 April 2014. For the past week or so I have been burrowed away. Working hard to make an idea spring (ha! To life. Ok, ok, I'm sorry for that, but it was just too hard to resist; my brain has turned to all things Easter Bunny related following a week desperately trying to bring a rabbit to life in extra quick time :). The lovely ladies at Black Sheep Wools. And realised I'd made a cat. Rubbish. (although on the plus side, free cat pattern coming soon! I went straight back to it and by now had rec...

Curly Girl Coop: Fork Pom Pom Tutorial
http://curlygirlcoop.blogspot.com/2014/04/fork-pom-pom-tutorial.html
Thursday, 10 April 2014. Fork Pom Pom Tutorial. Pom pons are a staple part of every crafters toolbox. They can be used as decorations in their own right or jazzed up a little just like my pom pom flowers. Pom poms also make the perfect tails for my Spring Bunny pattern, so here's my tutorial on how to make a mini pom pom using simply yarn and a fork! What a little cutie! 10 April 2014 at 20:55. I find making pom poms with a proper maker off-puttingly fiddly, but this looks simple-pimple!
