Ole's Blog: January 2009
http://joleolsen.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 12, 2009. I believe that God has lead me to go back to finish this degree in bible studies. I'm not sure where it may lead but I'm open to whatever God has in mind for me. There has been some confusion that I was going to seminary, but seminary school isn't conducted as an online program so I am only enrolled in a Bachelors Degree program. If that is where God leads me that would be wonderful, but for now I'm just finishing college. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I'm just this guy, you know.

Friday, June 13, 2008. Floods of Des Moines 2008. We didn't have any residential flood damage near our neighborhood but the bus barn down the street was partially submerged. We could actually see the river from our house. We shouldn't be able to. The park down by the river just became river and completely vanished. Flood water as seen from our front yard. Friday, July 3, 2009. Don Veitch, Former POW. Veitch escapes from World War II prison camp. By Kris Todd, Daily Reporter Staff. The Greenville native, with expressive eyes and a subtle smile, can paint a rosy picture for even the grimmest of tales. Don Veitch's long-held philosophy is: "There are no bad days. Some days are just better than others.". The 86-year-old Spencer resident was handed a "real low number" over six decades ago, which meant he didn't have very long to wait before being drafted.
