http://cheesedreaming.blogspot.com/2010/06/seal-cove-farm-cheve-bringing-family.html
One girl on the quest for cheese as the panacea for a life in flux. Saturday, June 5, 2010. Seal Cove Farm Cheve - bringing the family together. As you know, I'm always a little leery of grocery store cheese, but with a little snooping, I found something fun. Seal Cove Farm herbed chevre from Lamoine, Maine. Local and tasty! By the time everyone left and my brother and I were alone with our jet lag and a serious game of Crazy Eights, almost all the cheese was gone. We took care of that pretty well. The n...

Cheese Dreaming: May 2010

One girl on the quest for cheese as the panacea for a life in flux. Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Cheese for a Wednesday - pt. 30 Carre de Pitou. I love goat cheese. Not only is their cheese delicious, smooth, tangy and complex, goats are just darn cute! Andrew actually sent it home with an ice pack. That's how sensitive this lovely is. If you are lucky enough to find this cheese at your local shop, buy enough to share and enjoy with a nice crisp bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and good friends. Links to this post.

One girl on the quest for cheese as the panacea for a life in flux. Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Cheese for a Wednesday - pt 24 Breakfast Cheese! Anyway, I finally got bored enough to dive back in to the wonderful world of cheese, and decided to start with breakfast. Why not? It's the most important meal of the day! That adorable little white hockey puck (above) is actually an incredibly soft, delicious French goat cheese from the Midi Pyrennes called Cabecou. I tend to only think about cheese after dar...

One girl on the quest for cheese as the panacea for a life in flux. Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Cheese for a Wednesday - pt 28 Cheese for an Insane Student. Dear CheeseDreaming Fans,. I miss gorging on cheese and telling you about how fun it was! I miss talking about artisinal cheeses in depth, using poetic turns of phrase to make you hungry even if you've just had a 12 course meal! I miss starting conversations about organic and raw milk and cheese production! But until April 17, I am just swamped! As an...

Cheese Dreaming: Cheese for Complicated Times
http://cheesedreaming.blogspot.com/2011/03/cheese-for-complicated-times.html
One girl on the quest for cheese as the panacea for a life in flux. Friday, March 18, 2011. Cheese for Complicated Times. Not quite desert, but you get the idea! I tried to convince myself I didn’t miss it, but boy was that hard work! But then, this morning, I was in town getting my driver’s license renewed and found myself near one of my favorite gourmet food and supply stores. Too tempting to resist, I went in with a budget in mind, and set to exploring the cheese case! 8211; yummy and very stringy!

One girl on the quest for cheese as the panacea for a life in flux. Thursday, December 31, 2009. Best CheeseDreams of 2009. Everyone seems to be making a "best of 2009" list for this and that. To see what local LA cheesemonger professionals think, check out this list. Very excited to see my friend and personal cheesemonger Andrew at the top of that list. Way to go Andrew's Cheese Shop! I certainly have learned a lot since then, haven't I? So, in a nutshell, here is a list of some of my favorites of 2009&...

Cheese Dreaming: Yarra Valley Feta - My Marinated Addiction!

One girl on the quest for cheese as the panacea for a life in flux. Monday, June 13, 2011. Yarra Valley Feta - My Marinated Addiction! Has anyone else noticed that Haagen Daz ice cream is no longer being sold in pints? Yup, it is now a 14 ounce package, not 16 ounces - the officially approved measurement for a pint of ice cream. I noticed this last night when I was at the store picking up some vanilla to use as a base for some tasty rhubarb/orange/thyme sauce I had whipped up (Check out my other blog.
