Short breaks

We support children and adults to spend time away from their family doing activities they enjoy. We will help you explore what there is to do in your local community or further afield. We will match the right staff with you so that you get the support you need to do the things you want to do. If you would like a short holiday away from home, we can support you to do this. We can help you book holiday accommodation, or you can rent our own holiday accommodation, ‘Riverside’. Children and Young People.

Getting it Right

We will deliver high quality support to people with a learning disability , where, how and when they choose. We will also be able to support service users who have a physical disability, frail or fragile health, complex needs, and behaviour that is challenging. The support will be delivered by trained and competent staff. Each service user will have a designated key worker, no matter how many hours of support they receive. Help keep friends, and make new ones. Support with budgeting and managing money.

Examples of support we can provide:. Providing a few hours of support each week to give respite for fulltime family carers. This can be at home or elsewhere. Providing people with up to 24 hour support in their own home, either living on their own or in shared accommodation. Helping to develop independence skills, such as: cooking, cleaning, shopping, using public transport, budgeting. Emotional support during times of increased stress, ie moving house, bereavement, changing jobs.
