She is 8 weeks old now and is sleeping through the night 7-8 hours! She is happy and chubby and so sweet! It doesn't get much better than this! Check out her birth announcement. Monday, April 23, 2012. And other exciting happenings. The past week has been full of firsts for our little Vera! Our family at Lake Charles, LA. On our way back from Marvin's company crawfish boil! I put her sunglasses on her that she got for Easter from Grandpa and Grandma Robin. It's so bright outside! She actually doesn't even mind wearing them! Thanks Grandma for the Bumbo! This past week has been full of fun firsts for Vera. She is growing so quickly I can't believe it! We love our little girl!

Tuesday, October 20, 2009. Some of Our Favorite Things. First of all, it is the end of October, so that means the semester is nearing it's end! We couldn't be happier about this! That means only 2 semesters left for me until graduation! Lately I have been substituting for my part of the income. One day was in high school, which was TERRIBLE, and once in 1st grade. The first grade was bilingual and even though that sounds scary, it was amazing! I loved those kids! I got more hugs than I can even count.

Thursday, February 18, 2010. It's been a while since we updated. So far, the new year has been great! Marvin was accepted to the University of Houston in early January, and is now working diligently on his Mechanical Engineering degree! We are so excited that he is in his university now! At work, Marvin got his next promotion to SILVER! He is also currently in the lead for the Top Choice contest! He has sold over $1200 already with about half the month left to go! We hope that everyone is doing well!

Friday, July 31, 2009. We are officially moving! We found a great little (emphasis on "little") apartment in Spring. It's REALLY nice, just small. I figure that's great because it will force us to be organized and keep the amount of junk collecting to a minimum. The apartment has a work out center, which is awesome, and a very nice pool, a leash-less dog park (AMAZING! And it's gated so I get to feel super cool every time I come home and click the gate open! Tuesday, July 26, 2011. There will be an addition! We have some exciting news! About 2 months ago we found out that we will be getting a new little addition to our family! The due date is February 7, 2012! We are so excited and also very nervous! Right now I am at 12 weeks which puts our baby at about the size of a plum! Thank you to my sweet step sister Kara for the little pregnancy journal idea I stole from your blog! Total weight gain: -2 lbs! Sleep: Is interrupted by 1-2 potty breaks a night.

Tuesday, January 5, 2010. The Beginning of a New Year! This year has started off amazingly. We have our house completely organized and clean. We have started doing Cut Co demos again and made some jerky! As far as what we have to look forward to this year. Marvin has applied to the University of Houston for Mechanical Engineering. Saturday, May 12, 2012. Today was beautiful (despite the torrential downpour and wall shaking thunderstorms last night) so we decided today was a great day to take Vera to the pool! She just got a brand new swim suit from Grandma Robin, so we got all dressed up, accessorized with a SUPER cute hat, slathered the SPF 50 all over her sweet little skin, and headed over to Miss Amanda's swimming pool (since we don't have access to one anymore).
