The stories and adventures of a wandering PhD candidate trying to reach the holy grail of intellectual achievement - the doctoral dissertation. -photo by Paul Ryan. Monday, June 23, 2008. I detect a soft breeze. I am sitting here in my living room trying to feel a breeze. It isn't easy working in the heat. It especially isn't easy working in stale air, and so I am waiting for a breeze that will give me the support I need to write. Great to hear the class is going so well! August 6, 2008 at 9:03 AM.
