Wednesday, June 27, 2007. Greetings from the Green Mountains of Vermont. We crossed into Vermont today and I sprinkled my sand! Once again, thank you to everyone for all their support and good wishes. I felt them the whole way! Almost done my friend! I know after so many days of intense, physical activity it will be hard to say goodbye and come home. but remember - "There's No Place Like Home! You have been missed and I can't wait to get out on the road w/ you! Although you will really kick my butt now!

Monday, June 25, 2007. Today's ride to Little Falls, NY was a nice, easy one - the easiest in several days, actually. The scenery was still much the same with rolling hills, green fields and quaint little towns. Lots of strawberry patches and fragrant honeysuckle lined the way too. Unfortunately there was NO bakery to be found, though! Mom did happen upon a gift shop (! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). My co-workers surprised me with this cake on my last day. We are almost there! More of New York.

The other pictures show the final ride to the beach, after they regrouped so they would all arrive at the same time. The whole group rode to Revere Beach from the hotel in Burlington, MA. The LA riders completed their. Cross-USA journey of 3340 miles having started May 12. I am just amazed at their endurance. We have riders aged 71, 69, 80, etc. and the 69 year old is one strong rider. Talk to you later.
