The Cross Egypt Challenge 2012 season began from Egypts capital and the home of the famous Tahrir Square, Cairo then headed toward the coastal city of Alexandria before it went west to the city of Marsa Matrouh. The challenge then headed down and explored the most fascinating oasis of the Egyptian Sahara (desert).
