This unit will give the children the opportunity to work scientifically: they will compare the uses of everyday materials in and around the school with materials found in other places (at home, on the journey to school, on visits, and in stories, rhymes and songs). We also had baby bear and big bear come for a visit, they left us a letter and some pictures! We wrote them some letters, asking them questions and when they came back they even read them! December 9, 2014. We had a great time on number day investigating maths problems and participating in great maths activities! First we went orienteering. Then we did some shape investigations. We also had a go at recreating the Bavarelle puzzle. Finally we solved some fun maths puzzles with 4AT! December 5, 2014. First we cut the silhouettes out of black card. Then we cut out the windows.
