Crunchy Crafter

Wednesday, August 11, 2010. I have been redecorating our lounge over the past few months and have finally got into the fun parts - the ART. First off is this piece. I bought the canvases from Tanjis. Which seemed like a really good price and speedy delivery. The letters and numbers are from Spotlight. Was pretty simple but very effective. Have been thinking of adding to it. Crunchy Crafter: Well, it is about time for an update.

http://crunchycrafter.blogspot.com/2008/11/well-it-is-about-time-for-update.html

Monday, November 17, 2008. Well, it is about time for an update. WOW, October has come and gone already! Well, I have been rather busy, this is wee Catherine Olive Briar Gunn. She came a week early on the 8th of October. She is a really good wee thing. Sleeping lots and now smiling away to the world. All these photos are a little outdated - i must admit that the camera has been dead for the last two weeks. SHAME on me. Some updated ones to come soon. November 17, 2008 at 8:43 AM. Crunchy Crafter: Pretty damn SLACK

http://crunchycrafter.blogspot.com/2009/05/pretty-damn-slack.html

Wednesday, May 13, 2009. WOW - My last post was at the start of the year! It has been pretty hectic this year, with a bit of craft thrown in but mostly work. One thing that has caught my attention is socks. Yes socks seem to be the new fad that is sweeping the globe. They are sooo easy to transport and pretty darn quick to knit up. I have been doing a bit of dyeing too. A bit of sewing. But to be honest, mostly working and bring up my two beautiful girls. I really wanted to add to the projects on Ravelry!

Crunchy Crafter: February 2008

http://crunchycrafter.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html

Thursday, February 28, 2008. Our new winter range. Have spent since last November working on our winter range for Ecobubs. It has been a lot easier this time around. knowing the suppliers. the patterns etc - all helps to make a smooth bump free road. All of our clothing is made around the Wellington area. We have 7 contract sewers now, which makes for a bit of a logistical nightmare sometimes. As much as it is 'work' i really love designing our clothing and choosing the notions etc. They are sooo tiny!

Mama Bird's Creations: Baby Quilt

http://mamabirdcreations.blogspot.com/2009/02/baby-quilt.html

A place where I can show off my sewing, knitting, and other crafty escapades. Friday, February 6, 2009. So I have been crafting, but not updating, my bad :(. I will try and remedy that for 2009 though, as there is a lot on the agenda! So to begin, I present you with my first ever quilting project, using a tutorial found in a Little Treasures magazine. though I made a bassinette sized one rather than the suggested cot size (will suit the new baby better at least to start with). Auckland, New Zealand.

http://lizpa.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html

Even the cat is ginger! Family, crafting, learning, growing. Friday, February 27, 2009. It's been a while. Finished my first 'Oriental Lily' dress. Here is the recipient modelling it. It was quite an enjoyable knit, though i was a little panicked i was going to run out of yarn. That would have been a HUUUUGE disaster! Also have 98% finished some longies for H(11mths - walking! Am leaving the legs to finish closer to winter as he may not need them for at least another 8-10 weeks and is growing like a weed!

It's of our cat Poppy doing a wee.

http://lizpa.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html

Even the cat is ginger! Family, crafting, learning, growing. Sunday, December 14, 2008. Today I stayedd in my pj's, didn't shower, nor do my hair or even wash my face. I spent the day making this for a friends little girl. Getting my boy to model this for me cost me the promise of a treat tomorrow. It just looked so wrong on him. Must be the boyish frame or the way he stands or something! Saturday, December 6, 2008. Tuesday, December 2, 2008. Made from my home dyed wool (bendigo). I can't even begin to t...

Even the cat is ginger!: November 2008

http://lizpa.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html

Even the cat is ginger! Family, crafting, learning, growing. Sunday, November 30, 2008. Our day at the beach. What a day. So exhausted. Taking 3 kids and all their changes of clothes and drinks and nappies etc is full on. I felt like a pack mule. The kids had a real blast. They played in the fountains, splashed in the surf, scored a pony ride and an icecream. C3's first pony ride. Nana got a great photo of the kids sitting on the camel. It's the easy life for some eh Mr H? The big kids with their dad.

Even the cat is ginger! Family, crafting, learning, growing. Sunday, March 15, 2009. I'm really pleased with this. It's not perfect, but i think i have to organise myself with the right tools for the job, and also arrange Steve to take the kids out for a few hours (or the whole day! Tuesday, March 10, 2009. Here's the finished rainbow dress. I'm not 100% happy with it. A few little mistakes here and there. Too many late night knitting sessions whilst watching sex in the city. Sunday, March 1, 2009.

Mama Bird's Creations: Experiment

http://mamabirdcreations.blogspot.com/2008/08/experiment.html

A place where I can show off my sewing, knitting, and other crafty escapades. Thursday, August 21, 2008. I have had a woollen singlet lying around for a while now, and since it is still fairly cold, I thought I'd finally get around to dyeing it. The trouble is I don't have any acid dyes or even cake gels, just food colouring. I figured it couldn't be too hard to work out though, so just dug out some vinegar from the pantry and away I went! Looks awesome. Well done! August 25, 2008 at 2:17 PM.

Wednesday, November 19, 2014. I made this graphic because I wanted to showcase some testimonies about oils from my friends. Sometimes you read things online and think “anyone can say that stuff”. And it’s true, they can. So these are people that I know. I have seen the oils work in their lives and work for their families. I didn’t steal these from the internet and I didn’t make them up. And if you have questions- you could even contact them. Cause they are real :-). Links to this post. It’s so fun! Dry s...
