The Complete Guide to Finding Local Food in Toronto. Follow me on Twitter here. Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last several years, you’ve probably heard about the local food revolution. Food gurus, journalists and even ordinary people all over North America are moving away from mass supermarkets and heading to the local farmers’ market instead. Of course, some of these people are foodies who insist on purely organic meals, but why is everybody else jumping on the bandwagon? Thinking about...

done well: The end of an era
http://done-well.blogspot.com/2013/05/the-end-of-era.html
A little crafty, a little outdoorsy, a little delicious. All Dunwell. The end of an era. 160;Sunday, May 26, 2013 – me. Excitement and sadness consumes me as I write this post. I have yet to decide if it will be my last, or my second-last. Don't worry, I'm not going far. But this is the end of the road for this blog. I will make a final announcement here on June 1st to tell you all about my new project, but today, I just want to reminisce on everything "done well"and leave you with some parting words.

Chocolate Shavings: Rhubarb-Ginger Fizz
http://ourchocolateshavings.blogspot.com/2013/06/rhubarb-ginger-fizz.html
Saturday, June 1, 2013. Box arrived last week and, with it, came a bounty of rhubarb. Well, actually maybe not a bounty, but 5 healthy pink stalks. There's this weird phenomenon with CSA produce where you both get a lot and not very much of one type of vegetable or fruit. Can you CSA endorsers relate? The rhubarb we received didn't come in sufficient numbers to make a pie or tart as I would have hoped, but I turned into the next best thing I could think of: rhubarb simple syrup. 4 cups chopped rhubarb.

Links to this post. This is ...
