Archive for February, 2013. Just a quick update we’re half way through mid-winter break. It’s been nice to be around the house this week. Last weekend the weather was rainy, so Carl and Zak spent a lot of time playing cards. This week Zoe had a sleepover with girls from her class, so Zak and I headed out a little early to pick her up so that we could go for a walk at one of our favorite places. Yet another catch-up post. Archive for June, 2013. I love the fact that it’s staying light out late now and we can get outside after work. Here are a few from the week so far. We’re having a few of Zoe’s friends at the cabin this weekend so we are hoping the weather is good and we can keep them busy kayaking and hiking. Looking forward to the C side of the family coming to visit soon! Zak’s having great luck fishing in the lake and seems to catch a trout every time he goes out. Yet another catch-up post. Archive for July, 2013. The always-energetic kids went out to play with their friends as soon as we all arrived home. The grownups on the other hand are a little tired and not quite ready for tomorrow to be Monday. We had a great long weekend at the cabin with the C’s and the S’s, followed by a crazy work week. I’m finally digging out enough to post some pictures. The weather has been great, and the kids had fun fishing, though didn’t manage to catch anything this time. Yet another catch-up post.

A few from the house. The new house is coming along slowly, and we’re cleaning out the current one at an equal pace. At some point I suspect our timelines will collide. We had a chance to check out the space with drywall a while back. Here are a few pictures. There will be a parking spot in the alley out back, so given that the lot is so small we opted to have a bit of green space out front.
