How I remember the house. The old cow barn under the new bedroom. And several pieces of furniture are ones the family left behind and the Plattners had restored. The living room is just the same. Besides the obligatory goose family, southern Lapwings were walking about and talking. As they are ground nesters perhaps they were scouting out the area.
