There was Indian Paintbrush, Blue Bells, Daisies, Bear Grass(blooms once every seven years), and much more. I have never seen anything like it. The view of the Flathead Valley was awesome. Monday, January 17, 2011. Family Vacation January 2011. A good night sleep at the Residence Inn, and then off to Los Angeles, California. That little drive is long, but thanks to Jed running nose guard, we were able to make pretty good time. All the way from Las Vegas to Barstow there were signs to eat at Peggy Sue's Diner. We stopped in to eat and what a hoot! This one I will really recommend! A bit of a dive, but great food, service and prices. Too much fun, and lots of entertainment for children.

Tuesday, January 31, 2012. My parents stayed the weekend in Las Vegas after my Dad had a conference in St George, so I drove down with some girls from work for the weekend. We decided to go on Thursday and left Friday! It was a spontaneous, quick trip that was well worth it. It was great to see my parents! Most people my age don't go to Vegas to hang out with their Mom and Dad but apparently I love my parents. Who knew? I must say, they are quite the attractive couple. Oh dang! Sunday, January 1, 2012. For Christmas Eve the kids always get new P.J.'s so they open them up and they hurry off to bed. We had a little pizza and movie party this night and Sam kept asking when the movie was going to be over because he was afraid Santa was going to come and he'd still be awake. After we opened presents we got ready for church to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. Of course, I couldn't get a picture of all the kids looking at me at the same time so this is the best I could do.
