The Beast with Five Fingers. 1946) - solid horror offering enlivened by Peter Lorre’s performance. 1947) - this is full-bore film noir and it's superb. 1948) - fascinating British gothic melodrama with a hint of film noir. The Day the Sky Exploded. 1958) - decent Italian-French sci-fi disaster flick. 1959) - excellent British aviation disaster thriller. 1938) - pretty good entry in the Bulldog Drummond cycle.
