Friday Feasting: Pasta Bake with Italian Sausage. 1 lb Italian sausage (we use turkey). 1 large onion, diced. 1 TBSP minced garlic. 1 red bell pepper, diced. 1 orange bell pepper, diced. 2 tsp Italian seasoning. 1 qt chicken stock. 1 TBSP corn starch. 16 oz shredded mozzarella cheese. 1 lb rigatoni (or other tube shaped) pasta. 1 Add oil to skillet and heat over med high heat. Found on vegetariantimes.com). 2 15oz cans of black beans, drained and rinsed. 1 16oz jar of salsa. 1 bunch scallions chopped (or half onion). 1 10oz pkg. Sunday, November 23, 2014. Last weekend, it was clear that with the snow that hit, we changed seasons - fall became winter very quickly. So, this week, I had to put away all the bonnets and ball caps and get out the hats and mittens. We also have winter coats now hung where sweatshirts hung not too long ago.
