The Write Reasons – Curiously, Wes

https://curiouslywes.wordpress.com/2016/01/06/the-write-reasons

Rules of Thumb, Frames of Mind and Ways of Being. January 6, 2016. January 13, 2016. By Curiously, Wes. Photo courtesy of Matt Gibson. I recently decided to commit myself to writing. And, yes, I’ll be doing it through this blog. I am creating Curiously, Wes as a way to record my observations about living. Although I have documented my travels on journals, my ramblings on diaries and my speeches on computer, this will be my first time to write regularly and publicly. So, why now? Here are 3 reasons why.

True North – Curiously, Wes

https://curiouslywes.wordpress.com/2016/02/03/true-north

Rules of Thumb, Frames of Mind and Ways of Being. February 3, 2016. February 4, 2016. By Curiously, Wes. Angat, Bulacan, April 2012. Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens. No one can be certain. In every direction you turn,. A thick fog of gloom pervades the landscape. You have been on this journey long enough,. To have learned the ways of this desolate place. You have befriended the surrounding darkness,. And, in return, it has sharpened your senses. You scout the land and sniff the air.

Embracing Limits – Curiously, Wes

Rules of Thumb, Frames of Mind and Ways of Being. January 13, 2016. January 15, 2016. By Curiously, Wes. Photo courtesy of Danka and Peter. When I was packing for my first four-week trip around mountainous regions, I gathered all my stuff, placed them on the bed and crammed them in my 40 liter backpack. Unfortunately, half of them was still on the bed. Should I bring two backpacks instead? Or should I just stick with this one? I had doubts though. Would I still be able to enjoy my trip with just. Limits ...

Luang Prabang, Laos – Project Relish

https://projectrelish.com/2014/09/30/luang-prabang-laos

For people who love to eat, travel, and explore. Luang Prabang, Laos. Everyone said they never wanted to leave Luang Prabang. I was already having so much fun in Vientiane, and after an 11-hour very scenic bus travel, I could not wait to see it with my own eyes. Luang Prabang is tiny. It is easy to see the influence of French architecture, there are many many Buddhist temples and it has stunning lush natural landscape. And did I mention the temples? Or, you may just hang out with fellow travelers, drink ...

For people who love to eat, travel, and explore. March 14, 2016. March 14, 2016. March 11, 2016. I have experienced moments of bliss a few times in my life during long training runs, mostly in the wee hours of the morning running in the park, in perfect crisp and weightless spring weather. It was a feeling of being completely one with the universe – at that moment I was the universe, the universe was me, and time did not exist. Some call … Continue reading Bliss. March 10, 2016. You say Sugar Palm, I say Palm Sugar – Project Relish

https://projectrelish.com/2014/09/11/you-say-sugar-palm-i-say-palm-sugar

For people who love to eat, travel, and explore. You say Sugar Palm, I say Palm Sugar. Very early in the morning on an already hot and very humid day, our driver picked us at the hotel to go to Angkor Wat. We were feeling pretty good riding on our super cute tuktuk when our driver stopped at a small roadside market. And there we got introduced to the making of palm sugar, palm fruit, palm sap – basically everything palm. Have you ever tried palm sugar? To make the palm sugar, the juice is boiled hours at...

About – Project Relish

https://projectrelish.com/about

For people who love to eat, travel, and explore. I have a case of incurable wanderlust and a great deal of love for all things food. Originally from Istanbul, Turkey, my first big adventure into the world was moving to New York. For the next twenty years, I had two careers, traveled quite a bit in South America, Europe, and Asia, ran three marathons, had a few heartbreaks and triumphs, and made New York my home. Kyoto, Japan – Project Relish

https://projectrelish.com/2014/09/25/kyoto-japan

For people who love to eat, travel, and explore. I fell in love with Kyoto as soon as I got off the Shinkansen. What a beauty, my god! Full of captivating shrines and temples, zen gardens, markets and terrific food… A city bustling with energy at the center, yet very laid back on the outskirts. Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine. Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine. Kinkaku-ji Temple (the Golden Pavillion). Ryoanji Temple and its famed Zen Garden. Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window). September 25, 2014.

A museum of eloquent indelicacies. So, this blog is still a thing. Kind of. This may be the first time I’ve ever returned to one of these digital hermitages long-abandoned. Semms like this is a thing I need. A part of me I need. Periodically, but dearly need. And so I come home. But I’ve never really been myself. Here, or most anywhere else. So i’m going to change that. No, that doesn’t mean I’m going to post a picture of my dick. Though, I. No, I think I’ll start even more personal. 3) A woman squirting...
