As These Days Go By: This Kind Of Stuff Has Got To Stop In Our Country.
http://asthesedaysgoby.blogspot.com/2010/02/this-kind-of-stuff-has-got-to-stop-in.html
As These Days Go By. Friday, February 19, 2010. This Kind Of Stuff Has Got To Stop In Our Country. We Must Stop This Immediately! Have you noticed that stairs are getting steeper? Groceries ar heavier. And, everything is farther away. Yesterday I walked to the corner and I was dumbfounded to discover how long our street has become! This extension work was apparently done at night! What do they think I am, a lip reader. I also think they are much younger than I was at the same age. Clothing manufacturers ...

As These Days Go By: Old Age is a Gift~~I Have Decided
http://asthesedaysgoby.blogspot.com/2010/02/old-age-is-gifti-have-decided.html
As These Days Go By. Friday, February 19, 2010. Old Age is a Gift I Have Decided. I am now, probably for the first time in my life, the person I have always wanted to be. Oh, not my body! I sometime despair over my body - the wrinkles, the baggy eyes, and the sagging butt. And often I am taken aback by that old person that lives in my mirror, but I don't agonize over those things for long. Whose business is it if I choose to read or play on the computer until 4 am, and sleep until noon? I am so blessed t...

As These Days Go By. Thursday, February 18, 2010. Appreciate the Little Things. Do you get up everyday and look forward to or expect something special or big to happen? I think that I use to spend time always living in the future instead of the here and now. Planning for the trip on the weekend, or what was going to happen later in the same day. We spend to much time looking forward to the next hour, day,or week, and we miss the very important here and now. 171; Older Posts. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

As These Days Go By: I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings
http://asthesedaysgoby.blogspot.com/2010/02/i-know-why-caged-bird-sings.html
As These Days Go By. Thursday, February 11, 2010. I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings. The free bird leaps. On the back of the wind. Till the current ends. And dips his wings. In the orange sun rays. And dares to claim the sky. But a bird that stalks. Down his narrow cage. Can seldom see through. His bars of rage. His wings are clipped and. His feet are tied. So he opens his throat to sing. The caged bird sings. Of the things unknown. But longed for still. And is tune is heard. And he names the sky his own.
