If there were no music, I would not get through. Happy Belated New Year! And thus begins my year o' travel. As my last post. Which begs the question, where did I just return from and why did I need a camera so fast? I've gotten a lot of questions about which was my favorite. It's a tough quesiton to answer, because each one stands out for a different reason:. Thailand was the country that I had the most fun in. I felt completely comfortable, and yet there were so many cultural aspects that reminded m...

If there were no music, I would not get through. In class today, my professor gave an offhand example of the power of the size of the market, that still has me thinking. But what incentive does the pharmaceutical company have to create this medicine? The amount of time and money that goes into researching and developming a new drug is non-trivial. Add in the costs of patents, and you begin to see why the pharmas make sure to fully research the potential of the market before launching a new product. It fi...

If there were no music, I would not get through. So, yes, I've been noticeably absent for quite some time, but I feel like I have good excuses for the hibernation this time around. A lot has happened since my last post, so here's the quick summary:. The week after my last post - Final exams. May 14 - Graduation! Woohoo, I have an MBA. May 15 - Left for a 7 week trip to Europe visiting 8 countries. This weekend - Moved. Yesterday - Started my new job. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

If there were no music, I would not get through. So, the unfortunate has happened and my trusty digicam has bit the bucket. Technically, I can still take pictures with it, but none of the buttons actually do anything anymore, so I am forced to just be happy with the default settings. Clearly, this will not do. I am primarily a spontaneous photographer, and the last thing I want is something that requires effort/planning to carry along. I'd like to keep this under the $300 mark if possible. Okay, I know m...

If there were no music, I would not get through. Hi, I'm a songwriter, and it turns out I completely failed grade school where you learn how to spell words in the English language. Therefore, I'm going to make sure the world knows that now, as a supposed adult, that I can in fact spell. S-P-E-L-L. See? Just to make sure you get it (and also, because I'm an alarmingly lazy songwriter and can't think of better lyrics), I'll include the spelling as part of the song. The first examples that come to mind:.

Hey, let's go ride bikes! How many ADD kids does it take to screw in a lightbulb? The end of today finds us in San Clemente, CA. Drove in through San Diego then up PCH (the Pacific Coast Highway, for the uninitiated) into Orange County. Really pretty town. Stuck my feet in the Pacific and got some fantastic seafood for dinner. Some digits to groove on:. Time the past 11 days, I don't feel any of that right now (though technically I have all the rest of this week too). Posted by Taylor at 10:23 PM. So I'm...
