Green Witch of Whaddon: Buffy the Slug Slayer – Part I
http://greenwitchofwhaddon.blogspot.com/2008/05/buffy-slug-slayer-part-i.html
Green Witch of Whaddon. Living the Green Dream in Whaddon, Cheltenham. Tuesday, 27 May 2008. Buffy the Slug Slayer – Part I. I’m trying very, VERY hard to employ organic slug and snail control methods this year. To be fair, I start every growing season with this good intention. Then, invariably, plants I’ve nurtured into life from seed get their young lives cut short by a legion of the devil’s own greedy mollusc. The best way to find them is to wait until after a rain shower when they’re roving aro...

Green Witch of Whaddon. Living the Green Dream in Whaddon, Cheltenham. Wednesday, 28 May 2008. Driven by Self Interest to set up a Car Club for Cheltenham. I ditched my car about five years ago. However, I’m telling you in confidence that I really got rid of it when I had to save money to buy my first house. If I lived in London, I would simply join a car club. Green Witch of Whaddon: Henrietta Street and the Blair Witch Project
http://greenwitchofwhaddon.blogspot.com/2008/05/henrietta-street-and-blair-witch.html
Green Witch of Whaddon. Living the Green Dream in Whaddon, Cheltenham. Thursday, 29 May 2008. Henrietta Street and the Blair Witch Project. Henrietta Street is the one-way street that runs by the side of the new Brewery Complex. Well, it’s one-way to motor vehicles, but a cunning cyclist contraflow lane leaves cyclists free to (legally) cycle the wrong way. It's a particularly good example of a route that's easier to cycle than drive. I use… no correction…. This route daily on my way home from work.
