For this ride, the Peloton group were the sly foxes, and us Performance riders would be the hungry hounds trying to chase them down. I did the math. It would be nearly impossible to catch the foxes with their 30 minute lead over a relatively short route. This was a tough ride with lots of climbing for a fox 'n hound. First,. I was totally spent. Monday, October 11, 2010. Levi's King Ridge Gran Fondo. This past weekend, many folks associated with Cycle Folsom ventured over to Sonoma County to ride in Levi Leipheimer's. Back yard, his second annual King Ridge Gran Fondo. The measly 103 mile course. Only boasted about 9,000 feet of climbing with some pitches hitting 18%.
