Waarom, Hoekom, Waar kom die rit vandaan…. Ek het 31 Desember 1976 my Diensplig op Voortrekkerhoogte, Pretoria voltooi. 1 Januarie 1977 het ek met my 5-spoed Ralleigh fiets vanaf Pretoria na Bredasdorp en Kaap Agulhas getrap. Daar in die Vrystaat en Karoo het ek besluit dat ek nog eendag Kairo toe wil trap. Ons hou jou dop!
