Trip around the big blue. Map of my trip. The following 2 days, I went to explore and swim in Semuc Champey. It is a natural monument. It consists of a natural 300 m limestone bridge, under which passes the Cahabòn River. Atop the bridge is a series of stepped, turquoise pools, a popular swimming attraction. And so beautiful. Looks like being in a painting. The green colors are incredible. The next day, I said bye to Elin and Mimmi after a week traveling together and took a bus to Rio Dulce.

After a short ascension to the Monte Alban site at 2000m, I arrived with a friend I met the day before (Mercedes) to my new favorite ruins in Mexico. From this leveled mountain top, the Zapotec created an impressive complex of buildings overlooking the valley below. It feels like being in the clouds looking down to earth. The view is priceless. I thought the boat was going to sink with all our bags!
