The next day, July 1, we set off on our last European trip. We first rode the train to Vienna, where we saw the Schonbrunn palace. We then took a train down to Rijeka in Croatia, where we boa...

Sara's Prague Log

Thursday, August 7, 2008. Officially back in the US. Well - after 21 hours of traveling, I made it to Portland. After spending a LONG day of cleaning and doing Robert's laundry (because I am the best girlfriend EVER - and because I was too jet-lagged to deal with much else), Robert and I had Japanese food and watched a really bad scary movie on the couch. I forgot how great life is when you get to lie on the couch with your favorite person in the world. :). Monday, August 4, 2008. Last Post from Prague.

Czeching up with Al

Czeching up with Al. I’m sitting in the back of my Czech language class doing what I normally do at school now, wondering why the hell I’m here. School for exchange students is almost always boring, but I think now it is getting even worse for us. My school in the U.S. is finishing this week, with graduation scheduled for this weekend. Here in the Czech Republic, I still have about a month left. The entire exchange family last weekend, in Košice, Slovakia. The journey began on the 25th of April, with a t...
