https://dadwithacuriousmind.wordpress.com/2015/10/26/four-ways-breast-milk-is-really-interesting

Dad With A Curious Mind. Parenting through a scientific lens. Four ways breast milk is really interesting. You might have heard a lot that breastfeeding may reduce the risk of infections, allergies and gut problems. But it’s perhaps even more fascinating than you realise. 1 Mums may produce different breast milk for sons and daughters. Explains, it even matters whether she’s had a son or a daughter. Rhesus macaque monkeys produce more, lower energy milk for daughters, but less, higher energy milk for sons.

Does a rub or a cuddle relieve pain? | Dad With A Curious Mind

https://dadwithacuriousmind.wordpress.com/2016/04/05/does-a-rub-or-a-cuddle-relieve-pain

Dad With A Curious Mind. Parenting through a scientific lens. Does a rub or a cuddle relieve pain? I suspect most parents will have been there with a little one a fall, a knock, a misfired football, and then the tears. In a bid to relieve the hurt, you give the sore a good rub, a strong cuddle or maybe a peck to ‘kiss it better’. Does a rub genuinely relieve pain, or is it just the only thing we can think of to show we care? First, we need to understand what pain is. Have a high threshold for stimulation...

Way In fact, for reasons I'll explain at the bottom, I don't even necessarily recommend doing that to your kids' clothes. This is about how to manage an excess of kids' clothes. Clou de la soirée. This blog is about how much we love you. Friday, August 7, 2015. We Bought A House! We became dissatisfied living in our place at the beginning of this year, not least of all because the kids woke each other up sharing a room. I also really wanted to own a home. I had never even lived in a home that wasn't a rental. Ever. In my whole life. Got the keys and some champagne. Our hero Jon watching the kids during closing. Hello, little house! Running around the empty house ("the beach").

Jon and Becky take a week in North Fork every summer, so on their way back this year they stopped by for a short visit. It was so fun to have our first little play date in our house! Ben couldn't make it to James and Miranda's party in April so I hadn't seen him in so long- and he talks now! Kids playing in the mostly unpacked living room. The girls hanging outside the den. We had a lot...

Clou de la soirée. This blog is about how much we love you. Wednesday, October 20, 2010. 3 Weeks, August 1-7, 2010. On Saturday, August 7, we spent the day at the beach and we returned, I could not hold out to take a test. Even though the baby was planned, Kevin still looked surprised and maybe a little confused. According to the books, the baby should have looked somewhat fish-like at this point, so I drew a fish in its twitter account. Milky milk shakes, salt, salad, nuts. Is that pic your actual test?

This particular trick, we learned with Nat, who flat out refused to take naps in her crib. Or sleep at night in her crib. Or sleep at night at all. Is that a guy or girl? » Things you always and never wanted to know all at the same time…. Is that a guy or girl?

Is that a guy or girl? Stick a fork in me……. Friday, Apr 4 2014. This week has been an absolute roller coaster since Tuesday. I cannot focus on anything, I’m on edge, scatterbrained and don’t mention the exhaustion. Oh, the exhaustion! I’m not sleeping well so of course during the days I am an absolute zombie, making mistakes at work and I’m certain my coworkers think I’m on drugs or something. At this point I don’t even care if it’s cancer, I just need to know! Are there more spots? Is this side darker?
