Friday, December 07, 2007. Then there was the time at Wolf Trap in Northern Virginia with Karl and Dori. We had lawn tickets to see Gavin DeGraw, with openers Howie Day and Michael Tolcher. (See, I’m not old yet! I know contemporary music! We packed our picnics in requisite Wolf Trap style and set out. Of course, you know what’s coming: it started to pour. I mean pour. But it was a warm day, the music was great, we had our picnic, and the company was fantastic. Why leave? We had a very nice time indeed.

Friday, May 19, 2006. Well, here we are closing in on the end of May, and the weather has dropped back down into the low 50s with punishing winds to boot! We still have not even gotten our warm weather clothes out of the basement yet, because we don't need them. Sigh. I suppose all this will only make me love the warmth more, if it ever comes! Our neighbor just got a long-haired Chihuahua puppy. Normally I am not a fan of small dogs, but this little guy is the cutest thing ever! Check out the pictures.
