We have a beautiful self-catering chalet for holiday lets new for the summer of 2013. The lodge has 2 bedrooms; 1 double and 1 twin. It has an open plan kitchen and sitting area with a log burning stove. Outside it has a substantial decking area, leading from the patio doors, where you can sit and relax outside. In the chalet, all linen and towels are provided. There is a supply of games and books (and a DVD player in case of those rainy days, with a selection of DVDs). Site design by Changinglight.

How to get here. Dalilea Farm is situated on a signposted turning off the A861 between Acharacle and Kinlochmoidart. You can come two different ways. You can go via the Corran/Ardgour Ferry (3 miles north of the Ballachulish Bridge) and then driving through Strontian and Acharacle. The turning is about 5 miles after Acharacle, signposted down to the right for Dalilea. That if you use Sat Nav the postcode will not be too useful, as our postcode covers an area of about 5 miles! We now have a brand new luxurious wooden lodge for self-catering holidays. The farmhouse was run as a very popular guesthouse for many years by various members of the Macaulay family, so we are pleased to be welcoming visitors here again, old and new. Dalilea lies in the heart of Moidart, on the edge of the Ardnamurchan peninsula. It is a an unspoilt area of natural beauty, which lends itself to walking, biking, bird watching, kayaking or just getting away from it all. From Dalilea you are well placed for visiting Skye, Mull, Ardnamurchan, and Fort William and there are regular boat trips from Mallaig and Arisaig to the small Isles of Rum, Eigg, Muck and Canna. We have boats for hire on Loch Shiel for fishing or sightseeing. No holiday to this area is complete without a trip out on the loch. There are some stunning spots to see on the loch (the Green Isle, various beaches, Gaskan ). The loch also boasts some fantastic bird watching, lying within a special protection area for Golden Eagles.
