I want to make cute, easy things that will sell at Festival of Trees. And I have a basement full of stuff that I could be making into cute gifts, clothing, and home decor. A few days later I started to look through the book for a laugh, and found myself almost immediately absorbed by the author's wisdom and wit. She made some good points . . . she made a lot. Of good points. This was something I could use, for who doesn't want to be more interesting? And here in my hands was a surprisingly progressive manual on how to do it.

I think it helped to have awareness on my mind. I don't know if I made visible changes, but I feel more generally aware of myself and others.
