Damien's Poems: November 2013
http://damienspoems.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
What remains in the sponge doesn't always remain in the brain. You are taking over. When i go to my local vendor. I always leave empty handed. There is nothing I want. That is available through my local vendors. Besides marijuana and fresh curry leaves. Usually its just a kick in the teeth. With products that are old. Here, idiot, buy this memory stick for a million dollars. I feel so bad for local vendors. Links to this post. Would you like to take a walk with me? Beyond that special apple tree. The tem...

Damien's Poems: Good Morning America
http://damienspoems.blogspot.com/2014/11/good-morning-america.html
What remains in the sponge doesn't always remain in the brain. Rise and shine America. It's time to fake and bake. What can we fake today. And bake into your brain? Did you just use a leaf blower. Instead of a rake? Did you just eat pie. When you wanted cake? Bad news, sucker. That was in fact cake. I saw it on tv. You think that's pie. But your definition of pie is wrong. I know what pie is. I studied pie in school. And i am very sorry your parents and teachers. Didn't inform you what pie is.

Damien's Poems: drink me under the table
http://damienspoems.blogspot.com/2014/01/drink-me-under-table.html
What remains in the sponge doesn't always remain in the brain. Drink me under the table. You might be able to drink me. But i will smoke you. Like a j rolled by Shel Silverstein. I might not be Pearly Sweetcake. But maybe Ludwig Bongmuffin. I can't drink much. A few sips of bourbon. A Bloody Mary, or two. A glass of red wine. That just isn't me on most nights. I don't even leave the house. Why bother letting you drink me. Nothing beats a fine Indica. Puffed through a glass pipe. Hand blown by a lampworker.

Damien's Poems: dark cold room
http://damienspoems.blogspot.com/2014/06/dark-cold-room.html
What remains in the sponge doesn't always remain in the brain. With the blue bayou and the cool air conditioning. Time to shut out the outside world. And turn on the fans. And the strange colored lights. Besides the air isn't fresh out there. Look up but the ceiling isn't visible. So it doesn't exist because you can't see it. Only the flickering fireflies and Plucky McBanjo. I think it needs a water feature. A rather large fountain. Because my cold dark room isn't disneyland. But i do my best.

Damien's Poems: February 2014
http://damienspoems.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
What remains in the sponge doesn't always remain in the brain. A tip toe through the shower. Right on dwight is crispy. Oakland kicks the ass of coffee. Guatemala. peru. mexico. Bica, what a delightful experience you will always be. And what amazing scenery. One day i will click my heels three times. And be magically transported. Into your loving caring oakland arms. Alive and well and drinking beer. Links to this post. A man walks into the office supply store. He walks up to the counter. We can do that.

Damien's Poems: in love
http://damienspoems.blogspot.com/2014/02/in-love.html
What remains in the sponge doesn't always remain in the brain. So you wanna fall in love? Sometimes there is a crush. Sometimes you are head over heels. Fall in love with a tree. If that's your thing. What a fantastic decision. To fall in love. This is your doctor calling. To remind you about your love appointment. And please pay your monthly love bill on time. If you only feel love. Does it make a sound? Isn't falling in love. The other part catching? See how far that gets ya. You may need a team.

Spicy Lentil: San Marzano Red Sauce
http://spicylentil.blogspot.com/2013/11/san-marzano-red-sauce.html
Culinary concepts and feelings from the desk of Damien Margo. San Marzano Red Sauce. San Marzano Red Sauce. Adapted from my mother. This astonishing red sauce has become my favorite and the cooking time is only 45 minutes! The flavor and aroma of this sauce reminds me of expensive Italian restaurants in San Francisco. This recipe is convenient, healthy, and rustic, with skins and seeds left in. Yum! I’ve made this recipe with all types of tomatoes, often Romas. However, the ideal variety is San...Crush t...
