Sunday, June 2, 2013. Today was our Stake Conference, and the Spanish ward in our stake had a great big choir singing the musical numbers. Except for one verse of Love One Another, they sang 3 songs completely in Spanish. It was great! Soren leaned over to me and said during their closing song: "It's a good thing you're not singing today." I asked him "Why? To which he replied, "Because you don't know Spanish! But why isn't Papa up there singing? He should be because he knows Spanish! Doug and Jamie Ward.

Thursday, September 27, 2012. It was Western Day at Soren's School today - they've been learning about cowboys in science this month. He got to dress up like a cowboy and the parents were to pick up a little early so the kids could sing us some songs they've been working on. I tried loading a video here, and it didn't work. Sorry. I'll try another day.}. We had already planned for him to be a cowboy for Halloween this year, so we just pulled out some things a little early to wear and he was way excited!

Saturday, March 2, 2013. I've now lost 15 pounds in the past 7 week challenge. 9.5 inches lost collectively from my thighs, hips, waist, chest, and arms. Feeling good. Monday, July 23, 2012. Warning: Do not read if throw-up sickens you. Needless to say, we all got little sleep, and all plans for this day are totally ruined. Instead, laundry is on the list. Friday, June 6, 2008. I'm not a very good blogger am I? The honest truth of it all is that a couple months ago Travis and I got a new computer and I haven't downloaded any pictures or anything yet. Am I am too lazy to just buckle down and get it done. But we are so happy that it is finally summer. It's great that school is out and warmer weather is here. Steve and Sarah Curtis. Sunday, November 21, 2010. We arrived at the hospital to be induced the morning of Nov 3rd. At that point I was 9 days past my due date, 90% effaced and dilated to a 3. Pitocin was started, but after getting to the highest dose allowed at 2am the next morning and no real progress, we decided to give it a break, get a few hours of sleep and try again later that morning. I got my epidural, and when the midwife came to check on me a few hours later I was at a 10 and ready to push!

The store while visiting family in Phoenix, AZ. I was shopping alone. And spent an hour and a half. In the store. It is an fashion accessory boutique.
