Monday, February 23, 2015. Jack and Ben say both "yes" and "no" plenty, but Ben makes me smile most with "yes" and Jack makes me smile most with "no.". My favorite times when Jack says no are when he's too tired to fight us physically before bed, but too stubborn to let us put him in his crib right away without throwing a fit. I cradle him in my arms with his blanky all wrapped around him, I rub our noses together, I kiss his cheeks, and I whisper to him. Me: "Jackson, I love you.". Jayce and Sarah Porter.

Monday, October 29, 2012. 6 months. Half a year. Soon he will be driving a car. My baby boy is 6 months old. As in I have been a mother for 6 months. At 6 months, Jack is:. Up on his hands and knees and rocking back and forth (he will crawl in about 2 seconds I am sure). Sunday, January 30, 2011. Best Recipe. Ever. I love bread. A lot. Bread and butter may be my favorite snack/meal, especially is the bread is fresh. At restaurants I tend to eat more of the before-the-food-comes-out bread than my actual meal. Since I am at work/school all day, I love using my crockpot whenever I can. I found this recipe on my friend Whitney's blog (see my list of family and friends) and decided to modify it a bit. 1 envelope (0.25 ounce). OR 2 1/4 tsp. active dry yeast. 1/4 c warm water.

Sunday, July 21, 2013. Last weekend our awesome stake put on the first annual Kirtland 5K walk/run. I was SO excited to hear about it, but so bummed when I realized I would be 8 months pregnant right during it. I totally thought I wouldn't be able to run it. We have made sure almost every day of December has been filled with some type of festivity. I have loved embracing the Christmas spirit and spending it with people I love. Only nine days til Christmas and we still have two Christmas concerts, the Nutcracker, a trip to Bear Lake, and three or four more Christmas parties to go!
