Saturday, March 19, 2011. This is one of the batches from our Border Leicester sheep, a.k.a. "The Curly Girls" all washed and laying out to dry. Sunday, June 27, 2010. Everything is growing like crazy! This winter there was some logging done in the woods next to my drive, so now the sun can get to my hydrangea. They have doubled in size and now the blooms are actually white instead of greenish. Warm and wet weather so far has helped everything grow so beautifully! Our flock is also growing this year too!

Wednesday, April 28, 2010. What I've been up to this month. A stich in time saves nine. It has taken alot more work to clean the fleeces up. We have also been working on washing, picking, carding and have tried a little dying. Want to try out wet felting soon. Will post more pictures of the process in the next couple of days. Friday, March 26, 2010. I have been feeling the need to be creative, so I got out Caitlin's wool stash and decided to do some needle felting. The lamb Cait and I worked on together a few weeks ago using our own "Eleanor's" curly wool. The pink bunny I worked on most of yesterday. Cait an I also had a great time with the photo shoot. Thursday, July 23, 2009. Sully liked the looks of my phone and wanted to get a closer look. Opal Ann and Ruby. Opal Ann (left) is usually a little more shy than her twin Ruby. They were born in the middle of April. All three have the softest wool. It is supposed to be "next to the skin soft" so no itchies or pickies from their wool. Monday, March 14, 2011. First Comes Love, Then Comes Marriage, Then Comes. Wow its been awhile, but its been a long winter and hasn't been much to write about. I'm. Hopeful that spring is on its way and so I was feeling inspired. My husband and I didn't set out to get a dog but of course we weren't going to turn down a free dachshund! Here are a few of the projects we have been working on. One of the first things made was a nursing pillow. The stuffing in the pillow is actually wool from our sheep! Friday, September 24, 2010. After the wedding and our honeymoon we were able to work on the apartment (we took a break for a bit to work on wedding projects). We have water now.Cold and Hot! There is also heat! Recently we have been working on a built in, it will give us a lot of storage. Its hard to explain the design but when its finished I will post a picture.
