Tuesday, March 9, 2010. SO here is our updated news. Caleb is doing well, no real change there. I am doing well too, starting nursing school hopefully within the next couple of months. Work is going great, been kind of slow this month but hopefully things are going to be picking up really soon. I helped teach a prenatal class tonight, that was a lot of fun, I love seeing new moms and how excited they are about their babies. EwwwwI love your new kitchen! I cant believe how big the kiddos are getting!

Monday, November 9, 2009. Tristin was a princess and Derek was a Smartie for Halloween. She had so much fun dressing up. We went to our trunk or treat and Tristin had so much fun being able to take the candy out of the bowls ppl had them in. Of course Derek didn't do much :). Vietnam Adventure
Thursday, March 3, 2011. Making our way home. We left Hanoi around 8:30 and arrived in Hong Kong around 1:30 with an hour difference. We took the shuttle bus to our hotel and then settled in before heading to do a few last minute errands around the city. We took the subway downtown which was about a 25 minute ride and picked up Dane's suit. It looked great and he was excited to wear it. This morning we were up at 5 am for an 8 am flight (Hong Kong time). We will fly to Tokyo and then onto Minneapolis.
Every dollar. Period.
The idea came to me while I was standing in the village of Namasujju. It had been 5 years since Taylor and I last played together. We still had a few hundred CDs of our last project sitting in storage collecting dust, and neither of us was really playing out much. It occurred to me that if we were to somehow sell those things out, we’d probably make $5000-6000 coincidentally, the amount necessary to install a well in central Uganda. 600 CDs = 1 Well. Every dollar. Period.

Rambling thoughts of an archivist. Conference – Day 1. Hello from Brighton and a not at all scary conference. Is it okay to leak documents? Fear of leaking results in fewer records being kept regarding controversial decisions. But surely if government and the decision making was more transparent then there would be no need to fear leaks? Now I’ve got to run as Day 2 is just about to start! In April I was lucky enough to be win one of the ten Bursaries for the ARA conference in Brighton 29-31 August 2012.
