I thought I could beat the storm clouds, but was wrong. I barely kept it together were it not for my husband’s coaching. I also discovered, as she was close enough for me to overhear, that she was American. In line for St Vitus’ Cathedral, I was subjected to the f-bomb loaded whining of a young American girl behind me planning her drinking outings while the two young french girls in front of me, glanced back in disdain.
