When We Build Fences of Regret | Ingrid Lochamire

Published on November 13, 2014. When We Build Fences of Regret. Written by Ingrid Lochamire. Who doesn’t regret something in their lives? You can’t be in this world, have any sort of history, and not have regret. Over choices you made. Or didn’t make. Over people you hurt. Or didn’t love enough. Over misunderstandings, missteps, mistakes. It’s tempting to hang onto the regret, to coddle the remorse we feel and believe that living with regret makes us a better person. Did I Just Ignore God? | Baseball & Tutus

Did I Just Ignore God? We’ve had a lot of rain in our area of Kansas lately. A LOT. I know better than to complain. We need the moisture. So, we’re happy with rain. Hey, it’s not snow! With all the rain, we’ve learned how to take advantage of any time that it’s NOT raining and get outside. Even with dark clouds that threaten to drop moisture, we jump at the chance to get outside. In a few moments, it started to sprinkle. Okay, still no big deal. We kept playing. But, rain came, as the clouds had promised.

Surrounded by the Spirit. Connecting the Everyday to the Divine. Skip to primary content. The Power of a Small Step. April 29, 2015. One of the most powerful ways to love God is to surrender our will to His. Of course, that’s pretty easy to do when things are going well, pretty hard when they’re not. But whatever happens in the minutes and hours of the day, we are called to lovingly yield to what God allows in our lives with joy. So what should I do? Give up something like coffee or a favorite TV show?

Skip to primary content. The Essential Gospel Message. March 30, 2015. The Guilty Stain of the God-slayers. A poem by Joseph J. Pote. Republished from April, 2014, with minor revisions]. It began in the Garden of Eden,. With fruit from the forbidden tree. Adam chose to disobey God,. Believing sin would set him free. No longer desiring to hear God’s voice,. Nor willing to be God’s slave,. Adam conspired to usurp God’s throne,. To claim what his heart did crave. Oh, the horrible guilt; the burden; the pain!
