Touch Ministries Haiti: May 2011
http://touchstmarchaiti.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Because You Give, Others Live. Saturday, May 28, 2011. El Shaddai Officially Closed for the Summer! During the program, we observed a couple of our older boys taking leadership roles and it was exciting because we've been looking for those who would rise up. There is no meeting in the middle between the minds of Haiti and the Western mind. Words too true and I'm sure if any missionaries are reading this, they are saying "amen.". We look for great things to come from this quiet, skinny kid! Thank goodness...

Touch Ministries Haiti: One Full Week Completed
http://touchstmarchaiti.blogspot.com/2011/09/one-full-week-completed.html
Because You Give, Others Live. Friday, September 23, 2011. One Full Week Completed. Junior has been building a house. He does it the Haitian way, gets the dirt, sifts it, mixes it (as though it were cement) and constructs. It's quite a structure and quite ingenious. This looks very much like a Haitian house. He's working on this one, the dirt on top is wet. This takes a lot of time and thought. Everyone else is enjoying a quiet Friday. As a matter of fact this is what they are doing:. St Marc, Haiti.

Because You Give, Others Live. Thursday, January 13, 2011. AS HIS CUSTOM WAS…. 16 So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was. He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read. . 160; What are my customs? What do I want them to be for this new year? 160; Jesus custom was to go to the Temple. The other thought becomes; Do people know my customs? 160; The beginning of a new year is prime time to decide. What is our custom? Links to this post. Wednesday, ...

Because You Give, Others Live. Monday, December 27, 2010. Christmas is behind us, the New Year awaits us. What can we say after an ardorous time trying to make sure we got home before Christmas, then running around trying to make sure everyone would have a present, trying to get to see our church friends and pastors, all with coughing, sneezing, sore throats, shivering, fever.oh! Should I go on? How many of us had the same experience or part of the same? We are happy the new wall is built, Family Harvest...

Touch Ministries Haiti: Second Full Week........
http://touchstmarchaiti.blogspot.com/2011/09/second-full-week.html
Because You Give, Others Live. Friday, September 30, 2011. When school starts, I'm always thankful for the end of the first day. Here we are at the end of two and a half weeks. Amazing how quickly time goes, but also unnerving when one considers their age and the brevity of life here. It's also amazing how we have the honor of sowing into young lives, preparing them for an uncertain future but one filled with hope. Pastor Gary and Dr. Carolyn L. Walker.
