Back to Main Menu. The print was snatched too late from the developer and overcooked somewhat. I bleached the print for about 2 minutes, until the petals lost some of the detail and then gold toned the print. The gold toner did not have the effect I expected, it did give a bluish hue but instead of intensifying the fine detail as I expected, it actually reduced the detail. I exposed the print for 20 seconds under the enlarger and just over 5 minutes in the developer, the very dark areas of the print were clearly visible under the safelight, so snatched it from the developer and straight into the stop. The print was very grey because the toner was new so I selenium toned for about 5 minutes. Not the colour you expect from selenium toning. Fotospeed Fibre Based Lith paper.
