The 21 kilometer runners had perfect weather. Amazing to watch our own Peace Corps volunteer friends complete the race and as always, the Ethiopian runners were incredible! Imagining and living the possibilities in Ethiopia. September 14, 2013. Elsie is the owner of a weaving studio in Addis Ababa. When I visited the shop recently, she showed me some of the looms and other pieces of equipment they use to make beautiful scarves, table runners, placemats, etc. She is a successful entrepreneur who is teaching Ethiopians how to create beautiful things. This type of loom is easy to move or to rebuild if it wears out. The natural light in the room was wonderful. It’s a Rush!
