Swim and Boat Test. Health and Wellness Tips. Swim and Boat Test. Health and Wellness Tips. The Physical Education GIR of 8 PE points and a fulfilled swim requirement is expected to be completed by the end of the second year. For most students, this is their sophomore year. Students who have not completed the requirement by the end of their second year must file a Plan Proposal. This plan allows the Physical Education office to confirm your ability to complete the Physical Education GIR.

Once your plan has been reviewed by the Physical Education Office, you will receive e-mail notification that your plan has been approved, rejected, or modified in approximately three weeks. The e-mail notification will include any further steps that are necessary based on the status of your plan.
